Dorothy graduated from Queen Mary, University of London with a Bachelors of Law (LL.B) and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2020. Dorothy has assisted in various contentious matters, both in the State Court and Supreme Court, covering a wide range of areas including contract, commercial, defamation, construction and insurance law (personal injury, industrial accident claims etc). She has also assisted with construction claims under the Security of Payment Act as well as family disputes.
Dorothy enjoys the rigour of litigation and has had the opportunity to conduct a trial independently in the State Court. She has also conducted cross-examination in the Supreme Court.
Apart from contentious work, Dorothy has also assisted clients with drafting of wills and preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney (“LPAs”).
