Sylvester is an Associate in the Corporate team and is qualified in Singapore and Australia (NSW). He is a corporate and projects lawyer whose practice focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and joint ventures, project development, and project finance and financing-related matters. He advises sponsors, investors, financiers and other commercial participants on transactions and energy and infrastructure projects across their lifecycle, including acquisitions and divestments, investment and joint venture structuring, project development and construction, and related financing matters.

His broader practice includes corporate restructurings, investment funds, regulatory and compliance matters, and other complex commercial transactions, with experience across the energy, infrastructure and natural resources, construction, manufacturing, logistics and technology sectors.

Prior to joining Bayfront Law, Sylvester gained experience in both private practice and in-house, including with a renewable energy developer, where he supported the development, construction, financing and operation of renewable energy projects across the Asia-Pacific region. This combination of private practice and in-house experience gives him a broader perspective on the legal, commercial and operational considerations arising throughout the project lifecycle.

Sylvester graduated from Murdoch University in Perth and was admitted to practise in Australia (NSW) in 2023 and Singapore in 2026. He is also a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN).
